Yesterday, on a lovely Monday afternoon our acoustic duet Barefoot Saturday performed for a lovely wedding held at La Playa Beach Resort in Naples. The bride and groom came all the way from the UK as did many of their guests. Some guests were from Australia as well as Canada.
The ceremony was simple and intimidate with close family and friends. I loved how the aisle was marked with yellow and blue pinwheels that really made the two floral arrangements on the canopy and the bright blue sky pop with their coordinating colors.
The band was set up directly on the sandy beach and electrically plugged via a very long extension chord.
The bride's processional, her special request, was a laid back, fun little tune called When the Night Feels My Song by Bedouin Soundclash which Barefoot Saturday covered.
The cocktail hour began immediately post ceremony and was also right on the beach. Barefoot Saturday played a set of covers by artists such as Michael Buble, Jason Mraz, Colbie Caillait, Lifehouse, Bruno Mars and Ed Sheeran.
Many congrats to Taranee and Chris as they start their new life together. Thanks for letting us share in your day.
