If home is where the heart is, than it must be a perfect place to have a wedding! It certainly was for our sweet, southern bride Kelsey who was married at her parent's home in the lovely rustic town of Alva, Florida.
Alva is truly a gem of a place, one of the few representations of "Old Florida" left in the surrounding area. The place is quiet, with numerous oak trees that are hangers for spanish moss, and a gorgeous place for sunset views by the Caloosahatchee River.
The wedding was held outside in the back lawn of the house where she grew up. The ceremony even included a special appearance by the family's two dogs, dressed as a bride and groom.
Kelsey chose to have solo harp music played for her ceremony and for the cocktail hour. It was the perfect instrument for a celebratory gathering among the trees.
We congratulate Kelsey and her new husband on their marriage and appreciate them allowing us to share music for their special day!
